Schnorkel test

I tried out my new snorkeling gear in the condo pool today.  Everything worked well and it was really enjoyable to get in the water again.

Schnorkeling!

I bought some snorkeling paraphernalia today at Sports Authority. =)  Hopefully I will be able to use the stuff soon in the gulf.

I purchased:
1 - a wetsuit
2 - a mask
3 - a snorkel

I bought a futon today.  Not quite the one I wanted, but it still looks nice and it wasn't too expensive, so that is good.

I bought a TV and Blu-ray player for my room, finally.  I'm too cheap to buy the HDMI cables in brick and mortar stores, so I'll get them online.

I also rearranged some of the furniture in my room.  It is a bit easier for me to get around now.

So,when I was in the bathtub a couple of days ago, I grabbed onto the soap dish and it broke off of the wall.  Add it to the list of things to fix.

In other news, we're finally adjusting the cabinet underneath the sink in the half bath to accommodate my wheelchair more easily.

Some changes coming to my YouTube channels

Hey everyone,

I just thought I would let you all know that I am working on some major changes to the videos on my channel.  Some of the changes include removing all annotation links to this blog and replacing them with "Subscribe" links instead, updating keywords for each video, adding descriptions to videos that do not currently have ones, adjusting thumbnails, allowing all video stats to be publicly viewable, and revising some titles.

Additionally, I am working on making my videos more professional looking, as you may have noticed from some of the recent ones.  It may take a while to complete the transition, though, because I already have several videos in my backlog that will not have the changes applied to them.

Update on the condo

Happy Valnetine's Day to everyone.

So, I haven't posted for the past week because my dad and I have been doing a lot of work at the condo.  We spent nearly every day taking the old tile out so that when the guy comes to put the new tile in he wouldn't have as much work to do.

I enjoyed removing the old tile, but the getting the old thin set up has been a huge pain in the ass.

I met with the guy who is going to put the new tile in my house today.  He said he'll be able to start the job on February 24th.  He estimated that it would take 8 days to complete.

It is amazing the things that you don't realize that you are missing when you move to a new place.

Also, I got really nice lamp that throws off a ton of light for my bedroom a couple of days ago.
